The ties between metal cutting and forming engineering communities of the United States and of the countries of Central / Eastern Europe have existed for at least as long as AMT.  A tool factory in Moscow, founded by the group of American and Russian engineers at the beginning of the last century, or a machine tool factory near Warsaw, established in the 30s by the "Polish mechanics from America" are examples of these ties. 

In recent years the global-oriented U.S. manufacturing technology has decisively found its way into the transformed Central and Eastern European economies. AMT has always been present in the Region to support good industrial partnership.
